What to Expect
Embracing Parental Freedom
It is a joy to help fellow homeschool families! I understand and appreciate the freedom granted to parents in Florida when it comes to homeschooling and evaluation.
Homeschooling parents have the right to educate their children in a manner that aligns with their beliefs and values.
I'm all about respecting and supporting your parental freedom in homeschooling. During the evaluation, I'll make sure to ask and discuss with children some simple things like their favorite subjects, what books they've enjoyed, and maybe a project they're proud of. It's all about creating a relaxed and positive experience for them!
I will not ask you to provide more documentation during an evaluation than what is required by the state of Florida.
Let's make the evaluation process as stress-free and positive as possible for you and your child. Together, we can celebrate their progress and achievements throughout their homeschool journey!
What can you expect?
Virtual evaluations via Google Meet, Zoom, or email/phone conversation.
Meetings last about 15 minutes.
Student must be present during the evaluation.
Receive a completed and signed form via email for submission to the home education office.
Let me know before the evaluation meeting if you're interested in any other evaluation services.

Payment via Venmo or PayPal.
Looking forward to connecting with you and celebrating your child's progress together!
What should you bring?
Log of educational activities (a simple curriculum list is sufficient)
Log of reading materials used
Work samples (at least a few) showing progress over time
Feel free to email the log of activities, reading materials and/or work samples ahead of time. During the meeting, you can show me the work samples through digital files or physically via the web camera.
Empowering Homeschoolers
The evaluation is far from intimidating and is a celebration of the student's growth and progress. I understand and value that each child's homeschooling journey is unique!
Celebrating Success
As the evaluation unfolds, I take the time to genuinely congratulate students on successfully completing their school year. I celebrate their achievements, big and small, and encourage them to reflect on what they have learned throughout their homeschooling experience.
